Giles Hamilton-Fletcher, PhD, is an experienced post-doctoral research fellow in the REACTIV lab at NYU Langone Health, and is focused on using multisensory psychology to improve visual assistive technology for persons with blindness or low vision. Dr. Hamilton-Fletcher’s research explores how the senses interact with one another, inclusive of synaesthesia, cross-modal correspondences, learning new forms of sensory technology, and how all of these are affected by visual experience. Dr Hamilton-Fletcher's work explores the design and impact of new assistive technologies through behavioral testing, psychophysics, neuroimaging, and rehabilitation medicine.
