Mattie White, B.S., OTD/S, is a doctoral student in the Entry-Level Occupational Therapy Doctoral program at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology with a concentration in Exercise Science from the University of Alabama at Birmingham. Her professional interests include neurorehabilitation, health promotion, and autoimmune disease. She is currently engaged in research for her capstone project on the effects of autoimmune diseases on occupational participation and performance using photovoice methodology. She is expected to graduate in December 2026.
