Alexis Nicole is a master’s student at the Université du Québec à Chicoutimi (UQAC). His research focuses on proprioception, sensorimotor integration, and postural control, with a particular interest in vibration-induced postural reactions (Vib-PR) as a tool to evaluate proprioceptive function.
Alongside his graduate studies, Alexis is a licensed physiotherapist working in private practice. His clinical background informs his research interests, bridging biomechanics, rehabilitation, and clinical applications. He has presented work on methodological rigor in Vib-PR protocols and is committed to advancing knowledge on proprioceptive assessment in musculoskeletal health.
