Dr. Thomas A. Miller is an Associate Professor in the Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at the Schulich School of Medicine and Dentistry, Western University. A graduate of Queen’s University and fellowship-trained in clinical neurophysiology, he serves as Medical Director of the musculoskeletal rehabilitation program at Parkwood Hospital, Director of the Electrodiagnostic Laboratory, and Co-Director of the Peripheral Nerve Clinic. His clinical and research expertise spans neuromusculoskeletal disorders, electromyography, nerve injury, and spasticity rehabilitation. A past president of the Canadian Association of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and a leader in national medical education, Dr. Miller is deeply committed to teaching, employing a value-based, Socratic approach that emphasizes mentorship, critical thinking, and the integration of historical and evidence-based perspectives in medical practice.
