I was born and raised in Ukraine before moving to the United States at a young age. I earned my bachelor’s degree in Neuroscience from Wayne State University and am now working toward my goal of becoming a physician. I currently serve as a Patient Care Assistant at the Detroit Medical Center and as a research assistant in the Panza Lab at the VA, where I contribute to studies on spinal cord injury. I also had the opportunity to present research at the ASIA conference, which deepened my commitment to advancing medical knowledge and improving patient care.
