As a third-year graduate student at Johnson and Wales University pursuing a doctorate in occupational therapy, I am interested and passionate about rehabilitation medicine within the older adult population to help improve their overall health to increase participation in activities of daily living. My experience in my clinical rotations and working on my doctoral capstone project has increased my knowledge on the needs of the older adult population. Due to my experience it has motivated me to pursue an occupational therapy career for this population.
