Pamela Durr, PT, DPT, PhD currently serves as Assistant Professor in the Physical Therapy Department at Bradley University. A graduate of Bradley University in 1995 with her Bachelors of Science in Physical Therapy, Pamela served 20 years as a staff physical therapist in both acute care and rehabilitation settings in a level 1 trauma facility. In 2008, she completed her transitional Doctorate in PT at St. Ambrose University and completed her PhD in Health Sciences at Northern Illinois University in 2025. Her current research is focused on interventions for people with Parkinson's disease. Her most recent work has included the use of gum chewing as an acute adjunct treatment as well as the reliability of pupillometry for assessment in people with Parkinson's.
