Kortney Wilcher is a Community Health doctoral student. Her primary research interests include life course transitions, the design of health behavior interventions, and community-based participatory research. Her work aims to advance practice, service delivery, and research across diverse populations, with a particular emphasis on military veterans, marginalized communities, and individuals with disabilities and chronic conditions. She currently contributes to research that examines student veteran well-being during transitions to higher education and the workforce, rural veterans' access to and utilization of services, and factors influencing veteran suicide risk and prevention.
