Andrew Morris is a Senior Occupational Therapist in the Brain Innovation Center at Shirley Ryan AbilityLab (SRALab). His clinical treatment is with neurological patients at the inpatient level. Andrew is also a clinical researcher and lecturer specializing in upper extremity recovery following stroke. Andrew has been a unit-level representative on the Allied Health Skin Care Champions committee for four years, co-leading that committee for 2 years. In that capacity, Andrew has led and contributed to quality improvement initiatives with the goal of iatrogenic pressure injury reduction at SRALab. These process changes leverage data-driven analyses to optimize interdisciplinary communication and knowledge dissemination, collectively driving systems level practice change. Andrew earned his Doctor of Occupational Therapy degree from the University of Illinois at Chicago, and his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of New Hampshire.
