Dr. Isabel S. Huang is a Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation Specialist with special interests in hyermobility syndromes who has practiced medicine in Texas since 2015.
Dr. Huang’s professional career includes academic and hospital appointments at institutions including: the University of Texas Southwestern, the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston, Texas Institute of Rehabilitation and Research, and Parkland Hospitals.
Dr. Huang’s professional associations include the American Academy of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation, the American Academy of Physician Life Care Planners, the Association of Academic Physiatry, the Dallas County Medical Association, the Texas Medical Association, and the Texas Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Society.
Dr. Huang earned a Doctor of Medicine from the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine, and a Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences from the University of Cincinnati in Ohio. She completed her general surgery internship and physical medicine and rehabilitation residency at the McGovern School of Medicine at the University of Texas Houston. She is currently an Assistant Clinical Professor at the University of Texas Southwestern.
In addition to practicing clinical physiatry, Dr. Huang has lectured on topics including Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation and Hypermobility syndromes.
