Dr. Li is a health services researcher, holding a PhD in Health and Rehabilitation Science from the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) and completing her postdoctoral training at the Department of Healthcare Leadership and Management at MUSC and also at the Center for Large Data Research in Rehabilitation at the University of Texas Medical Branch. Dr. Li's research focuses on implementing advanced and innovative methodologies to optimize value-based rehabilitation care through analyzing electronic health records and administrative claims data. Her work examines how healthcare policy affects rehabilitation care delivery, transition, intensity, quality, and patient outcomes. Additionally, Dr. Li aims to translate outcome measurements into clinical practice and develop clinical support tools to improve patient care. Dr. Li is a LeaRRn scholar and RCMAR scholar. Funding for Dr. Li's work has been supported by NIH (K01HD101589, P2CHD101895, P30AG059301, P30AG024832) and American Occupational Therapy Foundation.
