Andrew Boyer is a second-year resident physician at the University of Colorado Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation residency program. Growing up as an active youth, he sustained multiple injuries requiring sustained rehabilitation with lasting functional deficits. It was through these experiences that he became interested in the field of PM&R and fell in love with the emphasis on maximizing function in their patients. Today, he continues to grow and explore all facets of the field and appreciates the opportunity ongoing research presents in deepening his understanding of the field and his future patients.
