Dr. Schwabe is the Section Chief of Pediatric Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R) at Texas Children's Hospital, where she has worked since 2000. She provides care to children with cerebral palsy and other disorders that result in limited function, spasticity and dystonia, and gait difficulties. Her role allows her to evaluate children in multi-disciplinary settings in collaboration with colleagues from different specialties to formulate an individualized, unique plan that is customized for each patient. Dr. Schwabe also co-directs the Motion Lab at Texas Children’s Hospital and serves as the Medical Director for therapy services. She is a Professor PM&R and Pediatrics at Baylor College of Medicine. She is married to Tim Lotze, pediatric neurologist, and has two children.
