Amanda Hoffman, MS, OTR/L BCPR is an inpatient rehabilitation supervisor with fifteen years of clinical experience. After graduating with a psychology degree from Stonehill College in 2003, she worked in advertising for E! Entertainment. Hollywood was not for her, so she completed a Master’s of Science in Occupational Therapy from Tufts University in 2007. A travel OT position brought her to the ski slopes and a subacute rehab setting in Colorado. Since starting at UCH in 2011, Amanda has served in many roles- Senior OT, Specialist OT, Rehab Service Lead, and Supervisor. Clinically, she is inspired by working with patients with trauma, neuro, and post-surgical diagnoses including burn. Amanda is dedicated to measuring outcomes and health equity in acute care and grateful for academic research partners. She is board certified in physical rehabilitation and has served in state and national leadership positions for OT. In 2022, Amanda was awarded the highest honor in OT in the state of CO for her leadership, clinical excellence, and research.
