Manrui is a postdoc research fellow at Northwestern University. Her research aims to improve the clinical identification of cognitive impairment among people with chronic disabilities/diseases (e.g., stroke) to improve their health services and quality of life by advancing the accessibility and clinical utility of NIH Toolbox cognitive measures. Manrui received a BS in Informatics and completed a dual master's degree program in Public Health and Social Work at Washington University in St Louis. Before starting her PhD in Health Sciences Integrated Program at the Feinberg School of Medicine at Northwestern University, she worked for three years as a research assistant in a large epidemiological study at the Rush Medical Center in Chicago, Institute of Healthy Aging. She is currently a postdoc research fellow receiving a grant from Paralyzed Veterans of America to develop accommodation solutions for engaging veterans with spinal cord injury in robust cognitive testing.
