Dr. Cohen-Zimerman is a cognitive neuroscientist with a background in clinical neuropsychology. Her research focuses on mapping brain regions that underlie social and cognitive functions, and identifying predictors of long-term cognitive outcomes following brain injury.
To address these questions, Dr. Cohen-Zimerman studies several clinical populations, including individuals with brain injuries and those experiencing brain fog associated with Long COVID. Her work integrates recent advances in cognitive neuroscience with insights from personality and social psychology, with the goal of developing evidence-based interventions to maintain and improve cognitive functioning in patients with neurological and mental health disorders.
