In addition to his inclusive design work, Francisco also serves as a Marketing Communications Specialist at GFT, a dual role that allows him to strategically amplify the impact of occupational therapy within the design industry. He actively promotes the value of OT through storytelling, thought leadership, and cross-disciplinary engagement.Francisco has presented at SXSW, the American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA) Inspire Conference, and NeoCon sharing how occupational therapists contribute to more inclusive, sensory-supportive, and human-centered environments. Francisco also leads GFT’s Inclusive Design internship program, creating pathways for OT students to apply their skills in real-world design projects. He thrives on collaboration and is committed to building bridges between OTs and design professionals to create more inclusive, human-centered environments.
