Ryan was raised in Ellensburg. Early in life he developed a love for health and fitness. He attended CWU from 2010 to 2016, earning degrees in clinical physiology and exercise science. After graduation he became a lecturer in the health sciences department. His goal has always been to improve both the mind and body of his students, so that they may go on to have careers as fulfilling as his has been to him. To further his aims he sought a doctoral degree in the field of education from Johns Hopkins University.
