Skylar De La Garza MS, CF-SLP is a speech-language pathologist completing her clinical fellowship in the acute care setting. She earned her Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology from UT Health San Antonio in 2025, graduating with a distinction in research. She previously received her Bachelor of Science in Speech and Hearing Science, with a minor in Family and Human Development, from Arizona State University in 2022. Since her undergraduate studies, she has served as a research assistant on various projects and remains passionate about contributing to research. Her primary research interests include cognitive-communication disorders, traumatic brain injury (TBI), community reintegration, and the intersection of mental health with communication and swallowing disorders.
