Dr. Bushnik is an Associate Professor and Director of Inter-Hospital Research & Knowledge Translation at Rusk Rehabilitation. One of her main roles is as the Project Director of the Rusk Rehabilitation Traumatic Brain Injury Model Systems (RRTBIMS) grant - a federally funded multi-center research program investigating acute, post-acute, and chronic outcomes after TBI. She has over 20 years of experience in conducting multi-site TBI research that have focused primarily on longitudinal outcomes after TBI. She has over 80 peer-reviewed manuscripts since joining the TBIMS in 1999. She is a Fellow and a past-President of ACRM.
