Brittany Samulski is an Assistant Professor in the Doctor of Physical Therapy Program in the School of Rehabilitation Sciences. She received her clinical doctorate in Physical Therapy and her PhD in Kinesiology and Rehabilitation, both from ODU in 2011 and 2020, respectively. Prior to completing her PhD, she worked clinically in the hospital and home health settings for Sentara Healthcare throughout Hampton Roads. She is Director of the Monarch Balance for Life Program at ODU which offers comprehensive falls risk assessment through various partnerships with insurance companies, the Virginia Beach Health Department, and Virginia Beach Parks and Recreation. She is an active member of the American Physical Therapy Association's Geriatric Practice Section and is deeply committed to understanding falls prevention, focusing on ways to tailor interventions to meet each individual’s unique needs for healthy aging.
