Abbreviated Description: This interactive session will explore the Functional Upper Extremity Levels (FUEL), a practical classification system for assessing neurological upper extremity (UE) function in clinical and research settings. Unlike traditional assessments, the FUEL simplifies evaluation by categorizing neurological UE use into eight functional levels without requiring structured protocols, specialized equipment, or extensive training. This tool enhances interdisciplinary communication, supports rehabilitation planning, and provides a clear, functional snapshot of UE ability. Participants will engage in an interactive learning experience using written materials, videos, and case discussions to accurately identify the FUEL level. Designed for clinicians with a foundation in neurorehabilitation, this session offers practical strategies for integrating the FUEL into clinical practice, telehealth, and research. Participants will understand how the FUEL can streamline assessment, treatment planning, and documentation of the neurological UE.
