I am an anesthesiologist by training. Currently, I work as a postdoctoral research scientist at the Brain function and recovery lab at University at Buffalo, where I pursue my passion for neuroscience research. My work primarily focuses on understanding the long-term effects of traumatic brain injury (TBI), with an emphasis on the underlying mechanisms that contribute to cognitive and neurological decline. In addition, I am actively involved in research related to ageing and Alzheimer's disease, exploring how neurodegenerative processes develop and intersect with prior brain injury and other risk factors.
