Gabriela Tahsuda (Kiowa/Comanche descent) is a graduate student pursuing a Master’s of Art Therapy and Counseling Program at School of the Art Institute of Chicago. In her current role as an intern at Access Living, Gabriela is focused on exploring community-based wellness and healing within the disability community. Gabriela’s personal experiences with disability have motivated her to become a leader and advocate throughout her academic journey for others with disabilities. Outside of her professional and academic work, Gabriela is a life-long artist who draws much of her inspiration from her Indigenous and Latino heritage.
