*Clinical Manager Occupational Therapy Outpatient Neuro:Debra Ouellette, MS, OTR/L, FAOTA, BCPR, SCLV, FNAP, is a Program Manager at Casa Colina Hospital and Centers for Healthcare, where she also she directs the OT Fellowship Physical Rehabilitation Fellowship program . Along with her outpatient duties, Debra has taken her expertise to have a role in IRFPAI accudacy for all admissions and discharges of the acute rehabilitation setting at Casa Colina In outpatient she provides treatment and education to staff in areas such as neurological rehabilitation, spasticity management, patient handling, and vision rehabilitation. She integrates research into her rehabilitation practice and is Board Certified in Physical Rehabilitation and Specialty Certified in Low Vision by the American Occupational Therapy Association. Debra has been honored as a Distinguished Practitioner Fellow of Occupational Therapy by the National Academies of Practice and as a Fellow of the American Occupational Therapy Association.
With over 40 years of experience in occupational therapy, Debra has worked across a variety of settings, including acute medical, inpatient rehabilitation, skilled nursing, and outpatient therapy, with a special focus on neurological populations. She is also actively involved in interprofessional research at the Casa Colina Research Institute. Debra has published and presented extensively on health services research and neurological rehabilitation and has coauthored a chapter on Motor Learning.
