I study the effects of exercise training in neurological diseases such as multiple sclerosis and Parkinson's as well as aging. This work has been highly collaborative and involved teams of PhD students and post-doctoral fellows. Indeed, I have mentored over 20 PhD students and 20 post-doctoral fellows, and consistently guided high performing collaborative groups of scientists.
