Cheryl Appleberry is a board-certified Athletic Trainer and the Clinic Coordinator at Shepherd Complex Concussion Clinic. Cheryl has 11 years’ experience working in concussion specialty clinics and 30+ years working with all levels of athletes and patients in the sports medicine field. Has also served in an academic capacity as a Clinical Instructor and Program Coordinator for Graduate Sports Medicine at Georgia State University. Cheryl collaborates closely with interdisciplinary team members and patients care team to provide structured guidance on safe return to play. Ms. Appleberry earned her Bachelor's of Science degree at Missouri State University and Master of Science in Sports Medicine at Georgia State University. Alongside her clinical duties, Cheryl is a contributing editor and involved with research studies in mild TBI.
