Jan Struhar is a doctoral-prepared physical therapist at Shirley Ryan AbilityLab with extensive experience in cancer rehabilitation. He currently works as an Allied Health Oncology Clinical Educator within the Oncology Innovation Center. Jan’s passion and expertise in cancer care focus on improving treatment strategies and maximizing the quality of life for individuals with a cancer diagnosis. Jan is a Board-Certified Oncologic Physical Therapist, earning certification in June 2020, and an active member of the Academy of Oncologic Physical Therapy. In addition, Jan serves as a representative of the APTA Oncology Section in collaboration with the American Cancer Society’s National Prostate Cancer Roundtable. In this role, he contributes to initiatives aimed at advancing survivorship care and improving rehabilitation strategies for individuals affected by prostate cancer.
