Kristin Campbell, BSc, PT, PhD is a licensed physical therapist and a Professor in the Department of Physical Therapy at the University of British Columbia in Vancouver, Canada. She also an Affiliated Scientist in the Cancer Control Program at the BC Cancer Research Institute. Her research focuses on the role of rehabilitation and exercise to improve the physical function, quality of life and health of people living with and beyond cancer. This work has been funded by the Canadian Cancer Society, Canadian Institutes of Health, Physiotherapy Foundation of Canada, and other funders. She has published over 150 peer review papers, and she was the co-lead of the 2019 exercise guidelines for cancer survivors from the American College of Sports Medicine. In 2020, she received a Distinguished Achievement Award for Overall Excellence Mid-Career from the Faculty of Medicine at UBC and a Visiting Scholar Award from the American College of Sports Medicine in 2022. She is a member of the Oncology Division of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association and a Fellow of the American College of Sports Medicine. She is also an associate editor of the Translational Journal of the American College of Sports Medicine (TJACSM).
