Dr. Kelcey Bland is a postdoctoral research fellow in the Cancer Exercise and Physiotherapy Lab in the Department of Physical Therapy at the University of British Columbia and the Cancer Control Research Program at the BC Cancer Research Institute. She has been awarded the Michael Smith Health Research BC Research Trainee Award and the Canadian Institutes of Health Research Postdoctoral Fellowship to support her research endeavors. Certified as a Clinical Exercise Physiologist by the American College of Sports Medicine, Dr. Bland's research and clinical work focus on optimizing exercise and rehabilitation strategies for people living with cancer—from diagnosis through survivorship and end-of-life care. Her current research centers on enhancing cancer rehabilitation services for individuals with advanced cancer through knowledge translation and implementation science.
