Rachel has been an occupational therapist since 2002. She has been the Brain Injury Program Director at Burke Rehabilitation Hospital since 2012 and was the Neuro Rehab Clinical Specialist at Rusk Rehabilitation, NYU Langone Health, where she worked for 10 years. Rachel has co-authored publications in the American Journal of Occupational Therapy and Archives of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. She was also a contributing author to a chapter in the textbook Occupational Therapy for Physical Dysfunction. Rachel has presented at numerous national and international conferences including the American Congress of Rehabilitation Medicine Conference. Rachel is one of the original authors of the Functional Upper Extremity Level (FUEL) Assessment including the AOTA Press book (in press). The FUEL is a performance-based assessment of neurological upper extremity function which also assists with treatment planning and documentation. Rachel graduated from McGill University and the University of Toronto.
