Amy Vogel-Eyny is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Speech Language Pathology and Audiology at Hunter College and clinical specialist at Rusk NYU Langone Health. As a clinician researcher, she works to develop rehabilitative approaches to treat linguistic and cognitive difficulties in healthy aging as well as in individuals with brain injury and disease. These approaches are designed to be functionally relevant and personally meaningful to the populations she serves. Her clinical research focus is on lexical retrieval in elderly adults, post-stroke aphasia rehabilitation, and primary progressive aphasia interventions with the aim of combining evidence-based treatment approaches with brain stimulation in the form of transcranial direct current stimulation (tDCS) to enhance gains and improve quality of life.
