Dr. Belagaje is a board certified vascular neurologist and is an Associate Professor of Neurology and Rehabilitation Medicine at Emory. He also serves as the Director of Stroke Rehabilitation at the Marcus Stroke and Neuroscience Center at Grady Memorial Hospital. He focuses on stroke rehabilitation and general stroke work. His honors and accomplishments include multiple teaching awards and serving as course director for various national conferences. He has co-authored several book chapters, manuscripts and presented abstracts at multiple conferences and served in a consultation capacity to industry in developing new technology for stroke rehabilitation
Furthermore, with his prior degree in Public Policy, Dr. Belagaje maintains an interest in health policy issues particularly related to stroke, neuro-rehabilitation and neurology in general.
