Dr. Amy Zheng is a Cognitive Neuroscientist currently working as a research scientist at Casa Colina Hospital and Centers for Healthcare. Amy received her PhD from UCLA and has over 10 years of experience in neuroimaging and clinical studies. In both academic and industry settings, her work has spanned investigations of various neurological conditions including Parkinson’s disease, disorders of consciousness, stroke, traumatic brain injury, and long COVID. Dr. Zheng’s research integrates multimodal approaches such as neuroimaging, neuromodulation, genetics, and behavioral protocols to identify robust biomarkers for improving diagnosis and prognosis as well as to enhance rehabilitation outcomes through personalized approaches. She has received funding support from National Science Foundation and National Institutes of Health, among others. She also co-founded a precision medicine startup that leverages genetics to provide personalized health assessments and recommendations.
