Jan Dowell, MS, MHS, DipACLM, CCMS, RDN is a Registered Dieitiand and Chef with a focus on Culinary Medicine. Jan teaches nutrition to a variety of students, including culinary students, medical students and post-graduate health professions students. She has co-authored an Open Education Resource textbook and is currently leading a teaching garden project. Using a food-first approach, Jan's goal is to bridge the gap between evidence-based nutrition recommendations and cooking healthy and delicious foods.
